Throughout my time at BCIT:EA I was assigned to create digital posts for the social medias. Working on a square canvas makes it compatible between different applications, such as Instagram. This process required me to include accurate information and proper layout and hierarchy to my work.

Print projects was also a part of one of my tasks. Not only is my job to prepare designs, but to also make sure they are print ready and no problems occur when it heads to the printer. Posters for club events and general promotion of the club are some print works I have done.

The yearly hoodie design project was not only my first project at BCIT:EA, but also took the longest to complete. Through many obstacles and mistakes that I had to face, I would choose this project as the most difficult. It was also the biggest learning experience of what it's like to work on a project in a team environment.
The concept of this design is inspired the iconic building at BCIT's Burnaby campus, SW1. The design was simplified and focused on the curved facade of the building with the stacked levels. Five strokes was chosen to represent the number of BCIT campuses.
After going through feedback from members and club meetings it was decided to change the concept, leaning more toward a Video Game and University concept. The final design decisions is inspired by Cyberpunk with University typography. The SW1 design element on the arm was converted to five slanted lines with the largest one in a different colour, representing the main campus, located at BCIT.
